No, the renewal of the tax will not increase the rate. It will continue at the same rate of 0.625%. The rate has always been the same.It would simply continue the existing tax for five more years and is shared by both the residents and visitors to our community through their sales purchases. 9 million visitors to our community pay the majority of the tax. The City and County share the revenue.  We have five years of visible results.

Since 2022, nearly 300 miles of roads and streets have been improved or are in progress. This includes 206 miles in Garland County and 92 miles in Hot Springs.
